Ashley and Kyah Swim for their Pa with Parkinson’s

These two little champions Ashley and Kyah wanted to help their Pa who has Parkinson’s and have set a target to swim 250km over a few months to raise awareness and funds for research. Needless to say, they have some very proud Grandparents.

"My Pa has Parkinson’s and we want to do something to show him our support, but there is only so much I can do on my own. You can help too, by donating to my page. Any amount you can give makes a difference”!

If you would like to support us you can make a donation to our fundraising page.

We set a target of $2000 and have raised $1500
Donations 75%

The boys said their greatest reward was the reaction they got from their Ma and Pa when they told them what they were doing.

We asked if they had any advice for others wanting to make a difference and they said, “Go for it! It’s a great cause and it feels good to do something positive for such a horrible disease”.

If you would like to get involved and help support a loved one head over to our getting involved section on our website.  There are some great ideas like registering to run in an athletic event, hosting your own event, joining or movers and shakers club and more.
