NSW Dolls Club Raises $10,000 for Parkinson’s

Dolls at NSW Dolls Club Charity TableOur heroes this week are the NSW Dolls Club who raised $10,000 through auctions of dolls and through their charity table at the Annual Doll Fair.  The Club is committed to finding a cure to support a member of the club with Parkinson’s and other members who have family and friends affected.

What drives your commitment to find a cure for Parkinsons?

There are so many people who are known to members of the club who have Parkinson’s. Also a member of our own club suffers from Parkinson’s. So these are all good reasons to make an effort.

Why Shake it Up Australia?

The fact that all the money raised goes to research.
