Shake It UpDate - Latest in Parkinson's Research

Dear Shake It Up Supporter,

Welcome to our first newsletter for 2017.

Such an exciting year is ahead. Since establishment Shake It Up has committed over $2.8M to Parkinson’s research projects in Australia and promising progress being made. This year we will have the opportunity to significantly increase this commitment however, as always, we must ensure that funding is available to support our incredibly talented researchers, and move Parkinson’s research forward towards better treatments and ultimately a cure.

We can all make a difference in some way and we hope that you can behind our Pause 4 Parkinson’s campaign during April for World Parkinson’s Month. Participating is easy – simply gather your friends and family or work colleagues and hold an event anytime in April doing something you love!  Maybe a morning tea, golf day, wine and cocktail night, movie night or a sausage sizzle, the opportunities are endless.

Together we can unite to give a voice and raise awareness for those living with Parkinson’s, and raise funds for vital Australian Parkinson’s research.

Until next time.
