Spano IGA are becoming well known for their wonderful annual race day and Shake It Up has again been chosen as the nominated charity for the 2016 event which will take place at the Gold Coast Turf Club on Saturday 15 October.

With over 470 people attended the 2015 event it has now well and truly established itself as one of the key social events in the Gold Coast racing calendar – it is an event not to be missed.

The day is always jam packed with fun and opportunities to get involved. Whether you are having a punt; participating in the ‘wooden horse’ race; securing sensational prizes in one of the biggest raffles we have ever seen; or strutting your stuff in the fashions on the field – there is something for everyone.

Many corporate supporters use it as an annual social event for the business while others put a table together with friends and family.

In 2015 over $47,000 was raised for Shake It Up of which 100% went to Australian Parkinson’s Research. We the help of our supporters we are hopeful that the event will crack the $50K mark in 2016.

We urge all supporters to get involved by putting a table together for what will be a fantastic day at the races. For more details please contact Samantha Spano at:
