This week we are featuring Shake It Up fundraisers, father-daughter duo, Owen and Kiera Turner, stars of their fundraising challenge, the Shake-Off Face-Off. Last year, Owen and Sandra Turner, along with their daughters Mikaela and Kiera and Kiera’s partner Elijah, challenged themselves to ice skate the same distance as a National Hockey League player does in an entire season, in just 3 months. A huge 660km!

Together, the team completed their challenge and raised $6,350 for Parkinson’s Research. We spoke to Owen and Kiera to hear a bit more about why they chose to fundraise for Shake It Up and their journey with Parkinson’s. Have a watch below.
