Webinar Series – Genetics & Parkinson’s

Is Parkinson’s genetic?

Only about 10 percent of Parkinson’s cases have been linked to a genetic cause. However, some genes may increase the risk of PD, some may impact the rate of progression and others may even protect people from disease.

Tune in live at 1pm on Friday 27 March as Australian researchers, Professor Dominic Rowe AM (Macquarie Neurology) and Professor Glenda Halliday (Neuroscience Research Australia) discuss what the science is telling us and how the study of genetics can lead to new therapies.
