About Bloom
Singer / Songwriter
Singer/Songwriter, Amanda Canzurlo, who has long performed under the pseudonym of Bloom, has been gaining acclaim for her smooth deep vocals and her fresh ambient pop sound.
Although she finds inspiration in artists such as Adele, Lana Del Rey, Eva Cassidy & Tina Arena, Bloom ultimately covers ground that is uniquely her own. She draws deep into the human condition to explore stories of loss and despair in an uplifting way that foregrounds hope and an appreciation of life stripped bare of the mundane and superficial distractions of everyday life.
Bloom has had heads turning and has been gaining acclaim with every performance she does having been described as “one of Australia’s finest vocalist” and Six-Time Golden Guitar Award Winning singer/songwriter Melinda Schneider describing her as “the next generation of amazing vocalists!”
For much of 2016 and 2017, Bloom has been on the touring circuit performing the internationally acclaimed Songbook of two powerhouse vocalists – Adele and Amy Winehouse, playing to packed houses across the four corners of the Country.
BLOOM SINGS THE LINDA RONSTADT SONGBOOK CELEBRATING 40 YEARS SINCE HER AUSTRALIAN TOUR TOURING AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND – 2019
In 2019, Bloom will tour the country with her brand new show – The Linda Ronstadt Songbook – celebrating Linda’s rich musical history and the architecture she has left on the music industry as one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time.
“I am very honoured to be an Ambassador for Shake It Up Australia,” says Bloom. “I not only get to perform the songs of one of my all-time favourite artists, Linda Ronstadt, but at the same time raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s disease in a hope to find better treatments and ultimately a cure for Australian’s and their families living with Parkinson’s”.
