On the 28th of February over 140 people gathered at Manly Golf Club to hear Phil Hesketh talk on the Psychology of Pre – Suasion. Over three and a half hours Phil kept the crowd engaged and entertained on topics such as how to handle objections, the real meaning of ‘WIN-WIN’ and ‘Emotional Negotiation’.
Shake It Up Board Member Graeme Fear and his wife Ingrid hosted the event which was a huge success, raising $20,828 to help find improved treatments to slow or stop the progression of Parkinson’s.
Over the years Graeme has been an integral member of the foundation through his position on the board and other fundraising events which he has hosted.
We asked Graeme what his greatest reward is in supporting Parkinson’s research
I know as a result of my involvement in Shake It Up that the old saying ‘the more you give the more you receive’ has been reinforced many times / is spot on. It is true that the giving heart receives”.
