CHALLENGE YOURSELF FOR PARKINSON’S

Regular exercise and movement is so important for people with Parkinson’s. And the Shake It Up Challenge is here to inspire you to keep moving while raising funds for Australian Parkinson’s research. You set your own movement challenge, so anyone can participate, no matter your fitness level or age.

Choose an activity (run, swim, walk, dance, anything!) and create a challenge fundraising page. Share with your supporters and ask them to donate.

If you need help, contact our Fundraising and Events Manager, Isobel, on isobel@shakeitup.org.au

Some great challenge ideas:

  • Paws for Parkinson’s – walking every day with your four-legged friend.
  • Pedal for Parkinson’s – cycling a set distance.
  • Pace for Parkinson’s – walking the same distance as Everest Base Camp.
  • Push-ups for Parkinson’s – 10 push-ups per day for a month.
