Suzanne shares her Parkinson’s story
Tuesday, 29th March 2022

This week we are featuring Suzanne Cox, a Shake It Up fundraising hero, who in 2020 ran 130km over 14 days and in 2021 ran a 45km ultra marathon through the Blue Mountains, all in honour of her late father who had Parkinson’s. Suzanne raised $18,200 through these two challenges for Shake It Up.

Our fundraisers are so vital to our mission to find better treatments for Parkinson’s. They raise the funds that progress cutting-edge Australian Parkinson’s research to bring us closer to a cure.

We interviewed Suzanne to hear more about her story, her fundraising and what a cure for Parkinson’s would mean, which we hope will inspire you to get involved and make a difference if you can.
