Podcast: Putting the Parkinson’s Puzzle Together
Wednesday, 8th August 2018

In the latest podcast from The Michael J. Fox Foundation,  contributing Editor Dave Iverson talks with Mark Frasier, PhD, Senior Vice President of Research Programs at The Michael J. Fox Foundation discusses how scientists are piecing together the many factors that play a role in Parkinson’s: from genes and environmental exposures to cellular proteins and pathways.  They also discuss what they have learned so far and how more data, better tests and varied experts can help us make progress in the puzzle of Parkinson’s.

To get involved individuals can participate in an online study called Fox Insight.  Every 90 days you’ll be invited to provide real-world information on symptoms, daily activities and other factors through online questionnaires. These “study visits” can take up to an hour (though some are as short as 15 minutes).
