Clyde Campbell founded Shake It Up in 2011 after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s at the age of 44. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a vision for the future he launched the Foundation with one mission – to increase awareness and funding in Australia targeted at finding better treatments, ways to slow and stop progression and ultimately a cure.

Clyde is also a successful business owner with over 30 years of experience in Robotics and Automation. His company Intelligent Robotics specialises in developing innovative technologies and has a proven track record in solving unique and challenging problems for their customers.

Clyde has been an Australia Day Ambassador for the past ten years. In 2021, Clyde was appointed as a Member (AM) of the Order of Australia (General Division) in the Australia Day Honours List, recognising his significant service to community health, particularly to people with Parkinson’s disease.

Tony is former Managing Director and Founder of a multi-discipline professional services firm that he established over 40 years ago. He has extensive experience in taxation services, mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, corporate restructuring, as well as business planning and business development issues. From 2007 to 2019, Tony was a Board Member and/or Councilor with the NSW Business Chamber, before being elected as President in 2014. He also held the position of Deputy President, Chairman of the Audit and Compliance Committee, and Chair of the Business Environment and Economics Committee. Tony was previously the Chairman of Kreston Australia and New Zealand and one of eight Directors on the board of Kreston International. Kreston is one of the largest networks of independent accounting business advisory firms in the world.

Tony is a Fellow with Chartered Accountants, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Chartered Tax Adviser with the Taxation Institute of Australia. He is the co-author of the book, ‘Born to Lead?’, about leadership, with Charisse Grey.

Katrina Hodgkinson is Director, Government and Regulatory Affairs, at Australia’s Academic & Research Network (AARNet), a sovereign organisation providing ultra-high speed Internet and communications services to Australia’s research and education sector.

Katrina is also Chair of the Holdmark Advisory Board and a board member of Realise Business. As a Member of Parliament, Katrina represented regional communities across a broad sector of Central and Southern NSW for 19 years and was the NSW Government’s first female Minister for Primary Industries. She was also Minister for Small Business and Assistant Minister for Tourism and Major Events in the O’Farrell and Baird Governments.

Noel commenced his career as a Chartered Accountant in 1968 and has since been an active investor in many diverse enterprises including accounting, retail, food, primary
production, transport / logistics, information technology, marketing, and real estate. Noel is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Certified Practicing Accountants, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Justice of the Peace. Noel believes business, family and personal participation throughout his career has enhanced his overall ‘life’ education and aspiration to be a good citizen. He is fulfilling his desire to allocate time and resources to charitable concerns, to contribute to the wellbeing of our Australian community. In 2020, Noel received the Governor-General’s medallion for his contribution over the past nine years to the Foundation.

Jenny has had a long and successful career in the media industry. After more than 20 years in the media, at both PBL Media and Seven West Media (SWM), Jenny launched SWM’s integrated sales division SMG RED in 2008. RED has since re-defined how advertising agencies and clients engage with the media and is Australia’s leading integrated sales division. In 2013, Jenny was named Media Sales Woman of the Year in the B&T Women in Media awards.

After four years as CEO of Shake It Up, Ben Young, has transitioned to a position on the board. Ben is now a Director for Hutchinson Builders but is thrilled to commit his time and expertise to support the foundation as part of the board. Ben holds an undergraduate degrees focussing on Business and Economics as well as a Masters of Business Administration.

Hayden is a dad to three children and works as a surgeon specialising in the treatment of sarcoma and melanoma. His practice is based at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. Hayden is the lead clinician for Australia’s only Isolated Limb Perfusion service and also established the institution’s electrochemotherapy service. He is involved in multiple research endeavours, including international sarcoma collaborations, and also sits on the Sustainability Committee, engaged in improving environmental sustainability in healthcare.
